Overview
Webflow is upgrading its hosting infrastructure by migrating all connected domains to Cloudflare. This transition aims to enhance performance, security, and reliability for all hosted sites.
Key deadline
Users must complete DNS updates by November 3, 2025 to avoid downtime or connection disruptions.
How to identify if your site needs an update
When logging into the Webflow dashboard, affected users will see a "yellow banner" notification at the top prompting them to "Update Domain / DNS." Not all sites will show this indicator immediately — Webflow is rolling out the migration gradually.
Update steps
- Log into your Webflow workspace
- Watch for the yellow banner notification on your dashboard
- Click through and follow the DNS update prompts
- Authenticate with your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) using Webflow''s secure migration tool
- Verify your default domain is correctly configured in site settings
Important note
Early updates before receiving the notification could cause downtime, so users should wait for their specific yellow banner to appear.
