About
The Bend Chamber has supported Bend's business community since 1926. Its 1,716 members include business owners, nonprofits, managers, and employees. It leads on advocacy, leadership development, workforce housing, and child care, and offers health insurance to members across Oregon.
About
The Bend Chamber's WordPress site pulled forms, events, and member pages from too many tools. We rebuilt it in Webflow, and organic search clicks more than doubled in a year.
The live site
The old site ran on WordPress with Divi and Elementor, which limited how many staff could update it. Forms came from three platforms: Constant Contact, 123FormBuilder, and Gravity Forms. The events plugin had many limits, and the chamber had little control over pages generated by GrowthZone. Old PDFs, images, and blog posts had piled up, and there was no clear way to subscribe to the newsletter.
Strategy
Built around the chamber's main visitor goals: join as a member, register for events, apply for leadership programs, read news, find members, and learn about health insurance. Resources for big community issues, like the ADU guide and child care, got their own sections.
Design
Professional but conversational, per the chamber's brand sliders. The 2021 brand colors stayed, with teal-greens leading and warm orange for calls to action. Founders Grotesk is the site typeface.
Webflow / CMS
We built Webflow CMS collections for news, events, staff, advocacy, and the BendNEXT Foundation, plus a pre-approved ADU design library. The live sitemap lists 906 URLs, including 709 news posts and 54 events.
The chamber wants businesses to see it as the go-to source for solutions and resources. Over the last 12 months, the site earned 23,656 organic search clicks, up 115% from the year before. Search impressions rose 33% to 1.38 million.
