About
The Green Sports Alliance uses the reach of sports to promote healthy, sustainable communities. Its 400+ members include pro and college teams, venues, and brands such as the NFL, Coca-Cola, and Aramark. It runs the annual GSA Summit and Green Sports Day.
About
GSA's WordPress template was slow, broken in places, and confusing to visitors. With Watson Creative, we rebuilt it in Webflow and moved about 1,300 pages and records across.

The live site
The old site ran on a WordPress template. Photos and buttons broke, pages loaded slowly, and the site did not work well on phones. GSA said the site "does not speak to who we are." Playbooks and reports sat in a PDF library that was hard to search.
Constraint: about 1,300 pages and CMS items had to move over, including 1,647 news items and 505 member records.
Strategy
Built around three audiences: companies and nonprofits, pro and college sport teams, and passionate individuals. Each gets a clear path to join, attend the Summit, take part in Green Sports Day, or download resources. A filterable member directory was a "must make it" feature.
Design
A modern, photo- and video-led design using GSA's updated brand guidelines. Greens lead, with ITC Avant Garde Gothic for headlines and Inter for body text. The Summit has its own typeface, Citrus Gothic.
Webflow / CMS
We migrated news, press releases, members, events, speakers, playbooks, and webinars into Webflow CMS, with URL redirects from the old site. Members can be filtered by industry and sport type. The live sitemap lists 2,455 URLs, including 1,723 media items, 270 members, and 175 events.
GSA wanted to be the hub for sustainability in sport, and to show up in Google for those topics. Its content now lives in one searchable Webflow site that staff update weekly. The site scores 96% on Silktide.
